Plenty of Fun

Sarasota is recognized as Florida’s Cultural Coast. There are more than 10 theatres and 30 art galleries here, and Sarasota is home to a professional symphony, opera and ballet. The Ringling Museum of Art features shows and a dazzling music for all ages.

Come and visit the Sarasota Jungle Gardens and Zoological Park. One of Florida’s oldest attractions, this park is filled with lush tropical gardens and winding brick pathways. Discover the exotic plant life, birds of prey and a wide variety of animals including flamingos, peacocks, alligators and a giant tortoise named Roscoe.

Other wonderful places to visit include the Mote Aquarium, which provides a lot of informative learning and fun, the Pelican Man’s Bird Sanctuary, which is the home of more than 39 avian species, and the heavenly gardens at Marie Shelby Botanical Gardens, where you can experience the wonders and beauty of nature. Last but not least is the Museum of Asian Art. With 2,000 years of history, this museum exhibits artifacts from China, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal and Burma.

A stroll along the famous St. Armands Circle is an experience to cherish. The many wonderful shops will keep everyone interested, and the fine restaurants will suit everyone’s taste.
