Naples is located in Collier County, 42 miles south of Fort Myers and 106 miles west of Miami.

Naples is Southwest Florida's most sophisticated city. Its wealthy residents are accustomed to the very best, and the boutiques and galleries of Naples compare with those of Beverly Hills and Palm Beach.

Known for its famous pier, Naples also has beautiful clean white sandy beaches, perfect for watching the sunset.

There are many things to see and do on your vacation in Naples, such as the famous Ritz Carlton Hotel, which has 20 acres of ocean property and 463 rooms all with a lovely view of the Gulf. The hotel has many planned family activities during the peak travel months. Many hotels are here to fit any budget.

You will want to visit the Briggs Nature Centerto see various species of fish and snakes, as well as the butterfly garden. Briggs is also a launching point for canoe and boat rides.

At the Naples Nature Center, children can touch snakes, count alligator’s teeth and explore the underwater life and the rehabilitation center for owls, eagles and hawks. There are guided trail walks and electric boat rides, along with canoe and kayak rentals to explore the Gordon River.

Caribbean Gardensis a 52-acre site that has a collection of over 200 animals, from rare golden tigers to the graceful impala antelopes. Enjoy elephant rides and the petting farm, which are fun for the whole family. Picnic lunches are welcome.

The Teddy Bear Museum is great for children who enjoy their stuffed version, and features more than 3,000 teddy bears from all over the world.
